Lagaan

“Lagaan” is a 2001 Indian sports drama film directed by Ashutosh Gowariker, starring Aamir Khan, Gracy Singh, and Rachel Shelley. The film is set in the late 19th century during the British Raj and tells the story of a small village in central India that is forced to pay an unjust tax (Lagaan) to the British, and how the villagers unite to challenge the British in a game of cricket.
